Xaria had never known imps to use the powerful amulets, which is why the duo's possession of the gorgon eye took her by surprise. As he feels the cold numbness of the stone spreading over her skin, she watches the imps rummage through her meager belongings. Imps are notoriously greedy, yet Xaria hopes they won't be too thorough.
